Embedded System & Robotics Lab inaugurated

An Embedded System & Robotics Lab in association with IIT-Bombay has been inaugurated in the computer science and engineering department, ADCET, Ashta, on 16th Feb 2024. Under e-Yantra Lab Set-up Initiative (eLSI). This is an initiative to train teachers and institutions by establishing a culture of “Project Based Learning” and solving real problems using technology hosted in a physical lab.

e-Yantra is a robotics outreach program funded by the Ministry of Education and hosted at IIT Bombay. The goal is to harness the talent of young engineers to solve problems using technology across a variety of domains such as: agriculture, manufacturing, defense, home, smart-city maintenance, and service industries.

The laboratory inauguration was carried by opening the signage board by the auspicious hands of our Executive Director, Hon. Rafik A. Kanai, Director Dr. Vikram S. Patil in the presence of Dr. Laxman Y. Waghmode and Dr. Suhel S. Sayyad, HOD-CSE department, Prof. Ajit Pradnyawant, team leader, and other faculty members. The entire inauguration was hosted online through which dignitary from IIT-Bombay Professor Kavi Arya attended the inauguration.
