Lab Name : Language Lab
Lab Details:
The Language Lab is vital and better valued within educational institutions as the functions and possibilities it offer much higher than the ones in the traditional teaching-learning system. It is an instrumental for Language teacher to reach individual student and provide necessary inputs. Language lab software is designed to acquire language skills in an easy and interactive way. English Language lab is based on the methodology of LSRW skills that are listening, speaking, reading and writing. These language laboratories are mainly an educational platform for students to learn and understand the basics of a language in a structured way. This lab focuses on language skills and efficiently develops the skills in students. Language lab software is used in schools and colleges across the country. Language lab software is a blend of technology that helps in easy and fast learning of English skills. English is a language based on concepts and it is important to understand these concepts and learn them.
LSRW skills are very important for learning any foreign language. When students listen to new words through language lab software they can able to grasp it easily due to clarity of speech. Teachers will emphasis on speaking or repeating the words. Further, they can study or read them at home and do revision. The last but not the least step is writing skills which will they acquire steadily. Language Lab Software helps in effective communication implies carrying or receiving of messages in smooth way.
Language Laboratory in the department is well equipped with English Language Software with the Teacher console along with 40 Student Consoles. Ample of study Material is available based on grammar, pronountions and soft skills. High definition audio headphones are available which enhances better learning experience. Software has special facility to preserve students’ performance which helps facilitator to adopt proper strategies.
There are well qualified faculty members to guide and nurture students communicative spirit. Modern classroom teaching methods are adopted such as flipped classroom.
In Laboratory Group Discussion, Debate, Mock interview are conducted along with it practical such as Portfolio preparation,Resume formation are conducted. Overall, Language lab takes care of all round development of students.
