FAQ
1) Who can access the library Facility ?
Students, Faculty, and Staff of ADCET can access the library facility. Membership card is mandatory in library premises. Also Alumini of ADCET can refer the books in the Library Premises only.
The Students, Faculty, and Staff of campus institutes can access the library. They are requested to bring an official letter duly sign by their Principal and identity card of their institute is mandatory to the avail library facility
Outside users are permitted to refer the books inside the library premises by taking official permission.
2) How Many Books user can borrow ?
Faculty users can borrow 10 books and staff 3 books at a time. Student can borrow 10 books out of which 3 books against his/her borrow card and 7 books in book bank.
3) What are the overdue charges against late return of the book ?
Students need to return book (s) on or before the date indicated on the Due-Date-Slip in the book. If any student fails to the book(s) in said duration then “Late Fee” will be charged. Late fee charges are per book per day 2.00 rupees.

But if incase due date is a holiday; the next working day will be taken as the due date. Absence from college will not be allowed as an excuse for the delay in the return of books.
5) I have lost the library Book, What I require to do?
First you should immediately report to the librarian. In case a book is lost; the borrower has to replace the same or the latest Edition of book. If the copy is out of print then the user has to pay double amount of the price of book along with the late fee charges.
6) What is book bank facility?
Book bank is scheme through which user can barrow maximum seven books for each semester apart from three home lending books. Book bank has no late fee charges till End Semester Exam. After End Semester exam students should return book bank within 7 days. If any students fails to this per book per day 2.00 rupees late fee will charged.
7) Can I bring the personal book in the library?
You can carry own books in reading room only.
8) Where can I make a suggestion for the library?
“Suggestion Box” placed in the library at left hand side of main entrance where users can drop-in their valuable suggestion(s). Also they can give suggestion(s) through faculty representative of concerned department or student representative.
9) What are rules and regulation?
Rules and regulations are uploaded on Website under the ‘’Quick Access’ In Library Profile-Know your Library.
10) How can I access the E-Recourses?
Access Links for e-resources are mentioned on the website under the ‘E-Resources’. Click on that link to access these resources. E-resources access is IP based therefore no need of log in credentials to access it. Further Access guide are provided under ‘Quick Access’ on the website.
